Kroger names a new president for its Ruler stores

The Kroger Co. has announced the appointment of Liz Ferneding to Ruler division president, effective July 31. Ms. Ferneding succeeds Paul Bowen, who retired in May. It has one location in the area, in Williamstown. The chain is focused on Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Tennessee.

The chain has one location in Northern Kentucky, in Williamstown.

Ruler Foods is a warehouse store grocery chain in the United States, currently owned by Kroger. It is a no-frills grocery store where 80% of the offerings are Kroger Brand, the customers bag their own groceries at the checkout, and rent shopping carts for 25 cents.
