Owner of long-closed but not forgotten chili parlor dies

Bronko Keitofski, 78, of Erlanger, Kentucky passed away in his home on August 23.

He was the owner of Bronko's Chili on Pike Street in Covington many years ago.

He was born to Zivko and Maria Keitofski in the village of Carev-Dvor in Macedonia.

He came to the United States as a young man and later married Leah Butler, who preceded him in death in 2013. Bronko was the owner of Bronko’s Chili in Covington, Kentucky.

Bronko is survived by his children Marie L. Keitofski, Bronko L. Keitofski, Chris A. Keitofski and Dena L. Keitofski; granddaughter Cheyenne; brother Blaze Keitofski; and niece Vase Kostoski.

The family has suggested memorial contributions be made to St. Ilija Macedonian Orthodox Church, 8465 Wuest Rd., Cincinnati, Ohio 45247.

A visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 30, 20017 from 12pm until time of service at 1pm. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
