The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises motorists of all lanes being blocked in Boone County on I-71 southbound due to a crash.
The crash is on I-71 southbound, south of the 72 mile marker near KY 14 (Verona-Mudlick Road). The crash currently has all southbound lanes and shoulders blocked in the area.
The fiery crash involving two semis, according to Boone County dispatchers.
The southbound lanes are expected to be blocked for three hours. Motorists are encouraged to find an alternate route, and to avoid the area, if possible.
