Suspected murderer of pregnant woman captured in Boone County

Steven Todd Mages, 38, was located in Boone County around 3 pm, Wedesnday


Police agencies arrested the suspect in a pregnant woman's homicide after an hours-long manhunt Wednesday, according to Goshen Township police.

Steven Todd Mages, 38, was located in Boone County around 3 p.m.

Mages had been on the run since police responded to his home in the 1300 block of Norma Lane at 5 a.m.

Responding officers found Natasha Marie Wilson, 35, "deceased by unnatural means," police said in a prepared statement, repeated by media like Raycom Media.

Family members said Wilson was pregnant with Mages' child.

Mages on charges of murder and felonious assault, notes Scripps Media, citing the police statement.

Mages has previous convictions, including multiple domestic violence charges, charges of menacing, unlawful sexual contact with a minor and assault, according to court records. All crimes were committed in Clermont County.
